Yorkshire Repak play an important role in supporting glass manufacturers, often around the clock, with our teams of dedicated and highly trained staff working side by side with manufacturers to meet critical standards and deadlines on both empty and filled containers.
From receipt of our client’s requirements by our Customer Service team, specification, protocol and timelines are established and delivery of the containers is taken. It’s here that our Quality Assurance systems are implemented for the job.
There are 109 recognised potential glass defects which can occur during production. Our highly trained professional inspection teams carefully check each container for the identified defects, whilst our Mould Number Reader provides automated inspection.
Our procedures include full traceability and are documented before the containers are repacked and returned to the client.
